Caring for Country Through Quality Civil and Environmental Works

I am a proud Dharawal Yuin man living on Dharawal land in The Oaks, NSW. My connection to Country runs through my family and shapes how I move through the world today. It is a connection carried with deep respect – for culture, for community, and for the responsibility to care for the land that has sustained generations before me.

My passion for the landscape works in the civil and environmental industry is deeply rooted in this responsibility. I am committed to caring for Country and protecting our natural landscapes so they can be respected and enjoyed by future generations. The values I carry – respect, connection, and sustainability, are informed by the strength of my family story and the resilience of those who came before me.

My Grandfather was born on Yuin Country and raised on Dharawal land before being taken from his family at just four years old as part of one of the Stolen Generations. Despite being denied the opportunity to grow up immersed in culture and community, his spirit remained unbroken. He escaped multiple times in search of family, and as a teenager, walked from Gosford back to his mother’s home in Botany.

A natural leader and community man, he later became the first Aboriginal referee for Group 6 football, proudly known as “Darkie” on the field. His resilience, strength, and determination continue to guide me today.

I walk with pride in my identity, carrying forward the responsibility to care for Country and community in ways that honour our past while building a stronger, more considered future.
